Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 June 2026
This policy explains how Of One Creative(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit https://www.ofone.co.uk, contact us, or engage us for brand work. We are the data controller for the information described below.
Who we are
Of One Creative is an independent brand studio based at Unit F3, 10 Sanda Road, Newtownabbey BT36 9UB, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@ofone.co.uk for anything in this policy, including data requests.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email, company, phone number, and anything you write in a discovery call form or email.
- Booking data when you schedule a call via Google Calendar (your name, email, time-zone, and the slot you pick). This is processed by Google on our behalf.
- Engagement records if you become a client — project briefs, draft work, invoices, and the contract.
- Site analytics — anonymous, aggregated statistics about page visits (e.g. pages viewed, country, device class). We do not use cross-site tracking.
- Server logs — IP address and request metadata retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
- To respond to enquiries and run discovery calls — legitimate interest in handling the conversation you started.
- To deliver work you’ve booked — performance of the contract between us.
- To send invoices and meet tax obligations — legal obligation.
- To keep the site working and safe — legitimate interest in security and service quality.
How long we keep it
We keep discovery-call notes and unanswered enquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them. Client project records are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, to satisfy UK tax and contract retention requirements. Anonymous analytics is retained in aggregated form indefinitely.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the third parties needed to run the studio:
- Google — Calendar (call booking) and Workspace (email).
- Our website hosting and CDN providers— serve the pages you’re reading.
- Sanity — content management for our Insights articles.
- Our accountant and HMRC— when we’re legally required to share invoice and contract data.
Where any of these providers are outside the UK, we rely on the UK adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
The site uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics that uses cookies, we’ll ask for consent first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@ofone.co.uk and we’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy meaningfully we’ll update the date at the top and, for active clients, let you know by email.
